International Project

Our school would like to share some exciting news, Fort Royal Community School was approved as an International School by the British Council! We were told that Fort Royal demonstrates commitment and motivation to develop an international and global dimension to our curriculum and to the whole-school ethos. We are really keen to use the International School Award to support the existing activities and see it as a framework with which to enrich and broaden the curriculum, and awareness and understanding of other cultures and global issues through PSHECC sessions. Our partner school in Poland have been able to allow pupils to work collaboratively through the E-twinning platform. After Brexit, we were able to access the Polish school's E-twinning platform as a guest. We have presented activities through the academic year, showing progression in the communication and work of pupils in our school and the Polish sister school. We are very proud of the recognition and will work hard to move on to the next level!
